Well… a better effort this week with 5hrs and 8 mins. Nothing like the week that was planned – sometimes I’m not sure why I plan anything!!
Monday Strength / conditioning. A small spin on Tuesday. Weights on Wed – lots of squats! A big run (in terms of height) on Thursday. A rest on Friday and then a bike and run on Saturday and squad swim on Sunday with a longer run – flat!
The run up Hangman on Thursday killed the legs after the squats on Wednesday. DOMS! I was very pleased with the 21.27 5k on Saturday after a hilly overgeared bike before the run. The run was well within myself and a nice even pace!
Swimming is coming together as well. Some good progression in my times for the session. Need more than one session a week though!
This week? Hit the hill again?? Hopefully. Need to spend some time in the saddle as well! A plan… shh… don’t tell me!
