There were definitely some good points to today – but it was over so quickly. Parkrun today was preceded by a 5 mile run and forced a 22.alot time for the 5k. Still, my training “plan” is based around marathon pace for the first bit and then 1/2 pace for the second and then mara pace home. My 5k was a bit slower than my pb pace but the whole run worked out averaging 8.40 min miles average at 80%AHR. Hopefully my base work will work well in bringing my aerobic capacity up and therefore work rate down! We will see! A long way to go!
The pic is of my lunch which was lovely. Sour dough eggy bread with bacon advocado and roasted toms! Yum! With a large latte! Heaven.
